Mandy’s Eel Garden

Mandy’s Eel Garden is a well-known dive site off West Bay Beach in Roatán, Honduras, featuring a sandy bottom inhabited by hundreds of garden eels that retreat into their holes as divers approach. The site ranges from 6 to 20 meters deep with excellent visibility and mild currents, making it suitable for both beginner and experienced divers.

It’s accessible by boat or shore and offers rich marine life, including moray eels, turtles, stingrays, eagle rays, squid, seahorses, pipefish, octopus, and nudibranchs. A small swim-through tunnel adds extra interest to the dive, making it a relaxing yet exciting underwater experience.
